Misty May Treanor (birth date 07/30/1977) grew to fame as a professional beach volleyball player. She is a 3-time Olympic gold medalist and the most successful female beach volleyball player with 112 individual championship wins.
Misty retired from the competitive play in 2012. In 2016, she was inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame. She also published a book Misty: My Journey Through Volleyball and Life.
